Marnix De Cat

Marnix is the artistic director of the vocal/instrumental  Pluto-ensemble.

​

 

He studied choirconducting (earning his first prize under Erik Van Nevel),
​but has nowadays a lot of experience in vocal ensemblework,

and likes to coach different vocal groups.

 

He  worked as choirmaster with the  Collegium Vocale Gent

  ("Escorial" 2013-14,  "De Blinden" 2018-19),

has coached different (semi-)amateurchoirs and ensembles in Belgium, and also abroad in Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland...

 

He also gives workshops for eartraining and intonation for singers.
